Walid Khabbaze
Walid writes in nature’s silence, often by hand, and usually when something arrives that he cannot quite explain.
Since he was a boy, whenever something was on his mind, he would walk alone, especially by the sea, knowing, somewhere deep inside, that the answers would come. They often did. The first book he ever bought was on astronomy; and in those years of wandering and wondering...
Four poems arrived, without his understanding of where they had come from, or why. The very first was titled ‘Life.’ Writing became a way of listening: of exploring the subtle patterns that shape our experience, and the quiet interconnectedness between life, nature, mind and soul.
In time, these reflections flowed into the talks he gave and the themes he curated for mindX Live, a purpose-led speaking platform he created to connect people on a deeper level. Soul Whispers is the first published work within Spheres of Life, an evolving constellation of poetry, writing, philosophical inquiry, music and live experiences.
